week 20

Over all this has actually been kind of fun, even though I don't know how useful it will be for me. All ready I have forgotten how to do some things and tried to show my kids at home and couldn't do it....As for showing a patron how to set up a blog well I would probably fail or take forever. It would be helpful to have these 20 lessons easily accessable to refresh our memories on what we did. I tried to do instant messaging at home got lost. Also tried to help the kids with my space but I was useless. However we have watched some great tv shows on hulu and some movies. That was simple and enjoyable!!!! Never did figure out the pod casting and rushed through the gaming. I think for the future we need more time to complete the tasks and figure out what we are doing. For me there was lots of trial and error and wondering if I had the right outcome. Guess I am just slow at some stuff. If it were offered again I would like to do it, just don't expect me to be "good" at it. I have a long ways to go but I do know more than when I started. Thanks!!!

I am not much of a gamer so I didn't find this one interesting at all. The five minute games I could do but couldn't get any others to work. They wanted me to download and so I just quit.

Didn't find google earth very usefull. Couldn't see the maps very clear and put in a few places that didn't show up??????

No I don't live in second life and I really have no interest in it. I am too busy doing things in real life. I am not sure that the avitars have anything to do with us really.....but it was kind of fun!!!!!

I see that this could be very helpful, if you did a lot of this kind of computer work. I am not familiar with microsoft word either, but would just stumble through it as needed. Seems very similiar.

tried a couple of searches on the different search engines and couldn't really say one was better than the other. The metasearching wasn't helpful to me????

I have been trying to do this one for about three weeks now. I am wasting too much time. Skipping this one and moving on!!!
